In Japan, there has been a letter game for drawing a picture that looks like a person’s face from long ago. The game sees people use the hiragana combination “へのへのもへじ” to complete the face. This has elements similar to a style of GRAFFITI called “THROW-UP” and is drawn in a crossed style. THROW-UP sees the artist draw the outline of letters quickly and as dynamic lines. As both THROW-UP and he-no-he-no-mo-he-ji are made up of simple components, they show an artist’s individuality well and are interesting.
